Conservatives Announce Platform: THE ROAD AHEAD
On May 16, 2003, Premier Ernie Eves announced the release of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party’s election platform titled "The Road Ahead." The document has been long anticipated since the other political parties have already released their policy platforms.
This Issues Update provides summaries of the major policy initiatives the Conservatives are promising voters if re-elected with a third straight majority government as they pertain to the land development industry. After reading the document, we have questions with several of the policy ideas proposed and will undertake to vigorously pursue answers and seek clarification. It should be noted that some of the ideas proposed have already been reflected in the Throne Speech and recent Ministerial announcements.
